Der Branchenstandard für Schauspiel-Headshots ist 8 x 10 Zoll im Hochformat (vertikal). Bei 300 DPI (dem Standard für Druck) bedeutet das eine Dateigröße von mindestens 2400 x 3000 Pixeln.
Für digitale Einreichungen auf Casting-Plattformen ist JPEG das Standardformat. Einige Plattformen akzeptieren PNG, aber die größere Datei kann Uploads verlangsamen. - Rule of thumb: always save a high-resolution master (300 DPI, largest pixel dimensions) and create smaller exports for specific platforms. You can always make a file smaller, but you cannot make a small file larger without losing quality.

- JPEG (.jpg). The universal standard. Good balance of quality and file size. Export at 80% to 90% quality for the best results. Use this for LinkedIn, websites, and email signatures.
- PNG. Supports transparency and offers slightly higher quality than JPEG, but files are larger. Use when you need a transparent background or the platform specifically requires it.
- TIFF. Uncompressed, maximum quality. Use this as your master file for archiving and printing. Not suitable for web upload (files are too large).
